Off, no bueno.

PT: hamstring tendon/knee area, soleus, tib, gastroc, neck...it all needed work. Going to take me time with this and not rush back.

Bummer on the ski crash. Hope you feel better quickly.

Thanks Jake, it was such a weird deal. I NEVER crash because I care more about my running legs than going a little extra fast…but it was so strange, I literally could not turn from one boot/binding and as I was trying to feel it out I hit wicked ice. After the fact I couldn't trouble shoot too much because I was in pain and all my equipment was scattered down the slopes.

Have you ever had anything like this? Maybe I didn't switch from 'walk' to 'ski' mode on that boot? Or something with the bindings?

From Jake K on Sat, Mar 15, 2014 at 17:26:04 from 12.69.234.140

Yeah I would guess if you couldn't initiate turns, you might have been in walk mode. That's disastrous on boots that flex a lot! Do you ski on Dynafit bindings?

I'm the same way... Since I got good at running, I'm all about mellow descending speed :-)

Yes, dynafit bindings. Up until now they have been great but maybe it was my error and I didn't flip to ski mode or I did and then caught it on my glove or jacket when I stood back up? I'm so careful with those details...but who knows. Definitely don't want to have that happen again. Ever.

Dang, sorry about the crash and hope you'll be ok. Not good!

Thanks guys! Hoping for a quick turnaround too! Lucky for me I have very good physics. I always seem to find a way to put their skills to the test :)

How are you doing? I hope you're improving.
